[January 22, 2016] This year we march on the anniversary date of the Roe v. Wade decision that effectively made abortion legal in the US. This means we will also march on the same day as the national march in DC and will close the day off with a luminary service around the state capitol rotunda.

Ecumenical Taize Service
Prayer for Christian Unity [January 21, 2016] Each year, the Newman Center puts on this Taize Service to pray for solidarity among all Christians during the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. Bishop Silva has been a supporter of this event (he's attended the last two) and continues to pray for the unity of all Christians.

Marianist BILAC: A Time for Prayer, Sharing, and Experience of Aloha
[November 5-7, 2015] This year, the BILAC celebrates 40 years so there will be a special concert on Thurs Nov 5, 2015 at 7:00pm.
The theme is "The Spirit of Malia" and will feature keynotes from Bob Hurd (Pan de Vida, Taste and See) and Fr. Jan Michael Joncas (On Eagles Wings, I Have Loved You).
